Following the DC Circuit Decision

Today’s [unanimous] decision by the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit resoundingly affirms that the executive orders targeting law firms for the clients they represent are unconstitutional and protects the right of all clients to choose independent counsel free from government intimidation or retaliation. [OUTCOME #3: We are currently evaluating the court’s holding on the limited issue of security clearances.] As we have for more than a century, Jenner & Block will continue to zealously advocate for our clients, without fear or compromise.
